Washington Capital United Blue 2005 (@wcu2005boys) is one of the most successful club teams from Washington DC in recent memory. In the last year, they have risen to #1 in National rankings twice and have consistently been in the top 15 in the US. They have just qualified to play in the prestigious US Youth Soccer National League that requires extensive travel. This fundraising campaign will ensure that several members of the team, that do not have the financial means, will be able to participate in upcoming events. Your assistance will ensure the these players can join their teammates by helping cover airfare and hotel expenses. Your contribution can remove financial barriers to participation that will help our very talented and diverse team reach their goals.

More about our team.... they have finished 1st in the difficult EDP league for three seasons in a row. Last summer, they where invited to play in the US Youth Soccer Eastern Regional Championships - winning their group and earning semifinalist honors. Their goal is to win a national championship and continue getting exposure to college coaches by playing in national level events.
