Together for Tim
Donation protected
We started this GoFundMe to help with some significant out of pocket medical bills and living expenses that are beginning to pile up for Tim and his family. Around March 5th, Tim started to have to reschedule jobs as he had not been feeling well for the prior two weeks. He had becoming more and more tired and couldn't get through his day. On March 7, 2019, Tim went to the ER for a pain he had been having in his side. Thinking this was going to be a simple, quick fix, you can imagine his surprise when he was admitted to Beaumont Hospital. The blood test, MRI and scans revealed the news no one not only wants to hear, but never prepared for as well. Tim was diagnosed with a Bowel Obstruction, along with Stage 4 Colon and Liver Cancer. This news was devastating to their whole family. On March 14, a colon resection was performed. He spent the next 15 days in the hospital, obviously unable to work. In about 3 weeks he will start his Chemo treatments for his liver. His liver is non surgical. It is treatable but unfortunately there is no cure at this time. At this time, the future is unknown. No one can predict how long Tim will be out of work. The money raised through this fund will go directly to Tim and his family to help with out of pocket medical bills, as well as some household bills, due to Tim's current loss of income. Anyone who knows Tim, knows he is a hard worker. Being forced to take a time out is not an easy task for him to say the least. Cindy, his devoted and loving partner, has been by his side. She is currently his full time care giver, along with continuing her current job as a nurse. It is not often we prepare to be in this situation. The unexpected diagnosis has but an immediate financial strain on his family. All of the prayers, well-wishes, phone calls and visits have been very much appreciated. Some of the friends that have visited have known time since he was 5 years old! Tim’s goal is to regain his health and independence as quick as possible and get back to work if his treatments allow him to do so. In the mean time, he needs to focus and work on resting, gaining his strength and improving his health in any possible way. It is our hope the funds from this campaign, will ease some financial burden so all his energy can go directly towards his treatment. Thank you all in advance for you generosity in all forms. Please continue to keep Tim and his family in your prayers.
