Scott Jackson's warrior fund

What's the old line about jack of all trades, but master of none? Well, that's not Scott Jackson. He's a master of many. He ran restaurants for years, where he practically earned a Ph.D. in burger flipping. You can find a generation of young adults in Alachua, who now have kids of their own, who can tell you about his skill as a youth basketball coach and the lessons they learned from Mr. Scott that had nothing to do with shot selection or rebounding. And then when son Kenny decided to take up violin, it opened the door to a career to violin repair and restoration. He's helped the most novice Suzuki player, concertmasters and even a Grammy winner. He's been handed boxes of pieces and turned them into priceless treasures. He's even played detective and helped return valuable stolen instruments to their grateful owners. Helping seems to sum up what Scott Jackson is all about. But right now, he's the one who could use some help. He's recently acquired a new job title: warrior. He's not battling bad guys but trying his best to slay the leukemia that's taken up residence in his bones. Mostly, he wants your good thoughts, prayers, and he certainly enjoys the music and art friends share with him. But he is now a full-time warrior and temporarily out of work as a violin repair superhero. So, if you'd like to help and aren't sure just how, that's what this option is all about. The money will be used for medical and living expenses. Those prayers, tunes and art are still welcomed and appreciated, but help paying the bills would take one worry away from our favorite warrior.
