Warriors Squared ♥️♥️ The Frank Family

Donation protected
Hello all! My name is Stephanie and I’m fundraising for my dearest friend and her beautiful family: Nicole, Keith, Warner, Waitley and Wrenlie Frank!
Their story is powerful and incredible! In 2021, they were blessed with a pregnancy that was a miracle in itself! They soon found out this baby was a girl!! A very rare occurrence with Nicole and her sisters! At their 20 week ultrasound, Nicole and Keith found out their sweet baby girl had heart defects, much like their first born son, Warner, but also different posing different and new challenges. While this was very unexpected (doctors have done so much genetic testing and found the Frank kids’ heart defects are not genetic), they kept their heads high and knew they could weather the storms as they have already done so with Warner. They sprung into action and began their appointments in Denver gathering some of the most well-trained, experienced doctors to be on their team! Plans were put into place and Wrenlie was to be delivered by C-Section in Children’s Hospital in Denver on May 4, 2022. Tell God your plans and hear Him laugh, isn’t that what they say? Wrenlie decided she was coming a day early! Nicole’s water broke at home 2 days before the scheduled C-Section, which meant she had to be emergency air-flighted to Denver for an emergency C-Section! Delivery went as well as can be expected. Wrenlie had her first heart surgery at 9 days old! Since then, she’s had more scans and scopes than most adults do in a lifetime! Nicole and Wrenlie spent just over 4 weeks in the hospital and finally got to come home!! Wrenlie went home on a feeding tube inserted into her nose and down to her stomach called an NG tube. This meant many sudden trips to the ER to have her tube re-inserted or replaced when she accidentally pulled it out. Doctors in Denver came up with a plan to do surgery to put in a G-tube rather than the NG tube. She can’t pull that out! Finally a date was made to do surgery! Well, Wrenlie switched up the plans! Just a few days before the surgery, Nicole, and her amazing mama instincts, noticed Wrenlie just wasn’t her usual self one day. Her oxygen began to drop! After a flying trip to the ER in Sidney, Wrenlie and Nicole rode by ambulance back to Children’s in Denver. Doctors discovered Wrenlie has tracheamolasia. They were able to get it under control and kept her in the hospital until surgery. Doctors decided while doing surgery for the g-tube, they would remove her appendix, perform LADS surgery and a do bronchoscopy to get a good look at the tracheamolasia. Of course, Wrenlie rocked surgery and recovery so far!
Baby Wrenlie has quite the long road ahead of her, though! She has 14 heart defects, her stomach is on the opposite side it should be, her spleen is smaller than it should be causing her to be on antibiotics for the foreseeable future, and tracheamolasia!! But she’s got amazing parents, a great team of medical professionals and an unbelievable amount of support behind her!
We can’t forget Keith and Nicki’s boys in all this!! Warner is still 100% reliant on a pace maker so doctor visits to Denver for him are still vital.
And if life wasn’t interesting enough, rambunctious Waitley, who thankfully has a healthy heart, broke his leg in the middle of all this chaos…boys will be boys right? So doctor visits to Denver for him as well!

As you can imagine, medical bills for this sweet family are overwhelming to put it simply! To know this family is to know two hard working parents who love with all their hearts and 3 beautiful, well-loved kids. This family takes all that comes at them head-on yet so gracefully, they contribute to their community as best they can, and help everyone out where they can without hesitation! But you also know, they’re not much on asking for help!
My hopes are that we can help them in the best way possible, pray for them and offer our love while they continue to pour all their efforts and energy into getting their babies the best care the country can offer! You can follow their journey on their Facebook page Warriors^2: Warner and Wrenlie!
This family is inspiring and well-deserving!
