To know Liz is to love her. She is an inspiration to all. You are here now because maybe you know her or someone in her family, or maybe you just care. If you have not already heard, our family is sorry to have to share that Liz has been diagnosed with Cervical “Squamous Cell Carcinoma”, Stage 4B because it has metastasized to her lymph nodes and lungs. The doctors have warned us, this is serious. Such unwanted news is hard to grasp for any family and in the case of Liz, 29 years young, lifelong health-nut, powerhouse, mentor, positive in heart and soul we are all having a difficult time accepting this. We all believe she can become one of those survivor stories that other young women dealt same deck of unusually awful cards find at the top of their Google search. Liz is really, organically positive and resilient- if there is a definition of "Beautiful inside and out" it is Liz. You can feel it with her, and it is authentic. She is strong and attentive; she understands the importance of doing life properly.
The mix of circumstances Liz takes center stage against came at a time that we have all been suffering from COVID-19. Liz did not have medical insurance at the time of this diagnosis, through a lot of phone calls, research and perseverance we were able to secure a plan for Liz, but this is not going to come without its costs. Your financial support is now requested, the patient-portion of the bills in this scenario are incredible- she cannot hide from financial burdens of living costs either. Professionally Liz is a blossoming realtor who enjoys the social aspects of the restaurant industry to make ends meet- now this fight will occupy her time. Please help us shower her with one of the only things in our power, a war chest of funds to show her she is secure enough to keep her eye on the ball and remove any financial stress she may have. Give a donation to fuel her fire, anyone who knows Liz is warmed by her inner glow and now she needs a framework of real support in the most urgent way.
Liz is also hoping to harvest her eggs for future use, obviously she is hopeful she can use the eggs later after fighting this, but she is also realistic that may never happen. Regardless, she will pass her eggs on to her legacy to her brother who is not able to have children. This has been her next priority, 2nd only to chemotherapy.
Our family is here to help Liz, Warrior Goddess, but it really does take a Village and we are reaching out to our Village. We will continue to update everyone as we move forward to Kick Cancer’s ASS.
We have taken the time to figure out her expenses for the next 6 months with hopes she will be healthy and can resume work again. The current plan for Chemo, then possible Radiation and maintenance to keep this Cancer at bay is going to knock her off her heels, as well as financially. Of course, her budget/goal may have to be adjusted if bumps in this nasty road should happen.
