Our dear friend, yogi, warrior goddess Cindie Heverly is in the midst of fighting F’ing CANCER! Cindie is an inspiring yoga teacher, a solid supportive sister and a dear friend to many, but above all, she’s a born warrior. After a challenging and stressful year, at the worst time possible, she was diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer. It caught her by complete surprise, but she’s fearless in her fight. She is a fierce health advocate for her self and trusting the journey ahead and all it unfolds, even with the consideration of a double mastectomy. Cindie’s strength and positive mindset are spot on for an optimistic outcome, inspiring us all with her courage. Choosing a combination of conventional and alternative methods for healing, is brave and costly. Behind the scenes, I know she’s struggling to hold it together financially with the out of pocket expenses for her treatment and supplements, missed work, and the inability to take on more work due to a shoulder injury.
