Warrior Defines Her: Kristen's 2nd Chance Lungs

We're kicking off a fundraiser for Kristen Burdick, our tenacious, spunky friend and Cystic Fibrosis warrior.

It’s been a winding road these past few months as Kristen is no longer able to benefit from the gene therapy drug Trikafta. With decreasing lung function, Kristen is busy preparing with her University of Washington care team for a series of surgeries in October and November. Successful completion of these procedures will enable her to join the active waiting list for a double-lung transplant, which we hope will occur in 2024.

The need for funds is material, we're seeking to support the Burdick's as they prepare for travel, relocation, surgery and recovery expenses.

Kristen and Eric share their deep gratitude for their community near and far and for all the support of their family.
