Local stonemason Roy Melby is asking for help from the community.
What was originally thought to be a Lyme disease flareup turned out to be a severe back injury with three herniated discs.
There is significant nerve damage.
Dealing with pain and major weakness in his legs has left him walking with two canes.
He’s a giving man, not accustomed to asking for help for himself.
He continues to go to PT and fight, but surgery is scheduled for May 3.
His recovery will be long.
Any help is greatly appreciated, he is blessed to have a great inner circle of people.
Medical bills and household costs are accumulating though.
He’s digging down deep and looking forward to a full recovery.
Anyone that knows Roy, knows that he would go out of his way to help anyone.
