This is written on behalf of Warren Robert Peggs family…
Warrens death has set off a complete title wave off within his family and this community, he was loved by so many. Warren was kind, he was soft spoken and so gentle, he loved his family, he loved his animals, he was like any other person. Warren had a passion for music, along with his whole family, he also liked to skateboard, and was always trying to make a friend wherever he was, he really had the most caring heart. He had so many opportunities in life, he was 36 years old and for his life to be taken so young is tragic to say the least. We as a family are mourning Warren’s death and it truly feels like have taken a massive hit, but we are working together as a team to stay strong and bring Warren justice. We want to work for a better future to ensure this doesn’t happen anymore to the innocent lives that are being taken time and time again. Warren is the 10th homicide committed this year is Saskatoon…. We as a family plan to fight for change in Warrens memory, to make our streets safe again, and to create a safe place for people who are facing addiction and homelessness. The violence and gang activity that has surrounded our city and flooded our streets for years and years has to end. WE NEED CHANGE! We deserve to feel safe within our community, Warren Robert Pegg should be with us today, but with the lack of funding and resources, our city is failing us, and we are losing our loved ones. Please stand with us as we navigate through this tough time, we are all trying to process this the best we can, it has been extremely hard, but as a family, and with our communities support, I feel we can bring the justice for Warren he deserves. We will be releasing details in the near future regarding further arrangements. We have made his go fund me in hopes of raising funds for his memorial/funeral , any expenses going forward regarding Warrens court case as it could take up to 30 months for justice… we also have a goal of raising enough to put towards a memorial park bench for all of warrens family, friends and community to come and visit Warren. I think Warren would love to have his own place for people visit him, as he always had the best of conversations, and advice to give or just a shoulder to cry on, to offer a place to think when in hard times, but also for people like himself, who to struggled with addiction and homelessness. It will be warrens safe place, & whether it be to sit, or to rest for awhile or to visit Warren , it will be in honour of his memory, I think this bench will be a beautiful way for his loved ones to remember him.. I also hope in the future we can create a foundation in warrens name to create a change, these are future goals that we will use all our pain, grief, anger, sadness and put that towards creating something beautiful; making a change for our people, and for Warren. We thank you so kindly for reading and showing our family support. Please, say Warrens name, tell his story, his name will be the bringing of change that we so deeply need in this community. I hope and pray we can create an impact and change that’s needed for our people.
Warren Robert Pegg, you are so loved.
