Warren Goldberg's Memorial Fund

Warren Goldberg was a man who believed in living his life to the fullest, and loving his family fiercely. These two practices often came together as he traveled the world, adoring all it had to offer. He was granted the privilege to do just that when he began working at Southwest Airlines nearly 12 years ago. This career excited him with all the people he got to meet, the coworkers he began to love, and the promise of more adventures to come.
Loving planes, trains, and yes automobiles, Warren appreciated any adventure that came his way. Russia may have been the best adventure of all, when it was there that he met the woman with whom he would share the rest of his life. Natasha and Warren shared a love that shattered all language barriers and they persevered through the challenges of an intercontinental relationship.
Before this, however, tragedy struck 15 years ago today (April 5th) with his wife, Dawn. He became both a father and a mother to his three children: Shayna, Mikel, and Lauren. As a single parent he fought tooth an nail to keep his family together even through this horrendous pain.
There were good times and bad times, but he made a point to be everywhere he could for everyone. He would fly 3-5 hours across the country to aid his brother, Art, in four hour chemotherapy treatments just to fly back home that same day. He took care of his parents to the best of his ability, driving anyone to doctor appointments and grocery stores. At work, you could always count on him to cover a shift, work a double, work a triple and he always did it with a smile on his face and a sticker for all his flight attendants.  He was a strong person with a beautiful soul.

It is in this time that tragedy has struck yet again in this family,  but this time Warren isn’t here to keep everyone together. His three children have been left with the horrifying planning of their father’s funeral—all before the age of 30. It’s an impossible thing to be mourning the loss of both of your parents in the same week and an even more impossible task to plan throughout.
In this time of mourning, we are asking for your help. In lieu of flowers or food, we are humbly requesting that anyone who wants to support us, do so in monetary donations to aid our family in the funderal costs. We are so grateful for everything everyone has done so far, but we are also grateful for everything everyone will do to help us through this tragedy. Thank you so much.

Sincerely,
The Goldberg Family

P.S. Funeral arrangements are as follows:

My name is Brittany Goldberg and I am originally from NJ. Warren Goldberg is my uncle and the funds are being used to cover all funeral expenses. Once the funds are being withdrawn, the money will be sent to Warren’s eldest daughter, Shayna, so she can pay Zale’s Funeral Home and Crescent Memorial Park for their services.
