Warren Family landslide- Summerside NL

Hi Everyone,

My name is Madge, I am the sister of Larry Warren my sister PJ and I and would love to help him and his family in their time of need . As many of you have seen and heard, Larry and Katie Warren's property was devastated by a landslide on February 18, 2022.

Thankfully no one was injured in the landslide but there was major damage and loss due to the landslide.

Larry's and Katie have worked their whole lives to build what they had. The  garage, all of it contents (which included tools,  dirt bikes, quads, a side by side, ski doo’s , motors, boats, an Argo, items that had been passed down through generations that are irreplaceable and so much more), is buried under thousands of tons of saturated mud. Their two vehicles were also compromised. They have been evacuated from their home with nothing but the clothes on their back. It is not certain if or when they will ever get back in. Not even to collect or save any of their belongings . 

The bill for the cost of clean up alone is currently estimated at $400,000.00. After years of paying insurance to Johnson’s insurance company they have decided this is a natural disaster and will not assist or help in anyway leaving Larry and Katie to pay this bill.

We looking for donations to help offset the cost of cleanup so that they can hopefully return to their home if or when it is deemed safe to do so.
