A Father’s Final Battle & Our Plea for Help
At 2:14 am on September 11, 2025, my world shattered into pieces I could never put back together. My beloved dad, my protector, my backbone, my favorite person in the world, took his very last breath and gained his wings.
Even as I write this, the pain feels unbearable. I don’t know how to live in a world without him the man who taught me strength, who made me laugh through tears, and who loved us unconditionally until the very end.
In August 2024, my dad was diagnosed with leukemia (CMML), acute kidney injury leading to kidney failure, and cirrhosis of the liver. The odds were stacked against him, yet he never stopped fighting. He battled bravely, carrying his pain with quiet dignity. And somehow, even in the darkest moments, he still found ways to make us smile cracking jokes, offering encouragement, and reminding us what courage truly looks like.
Now, in the wake of his passing, our family is left facing not only unimaginable grief but also the overwhelming reality of funeral costs we were unprepared for. We want nothing more than to give my dad the peaceful, honorable farewell he deserves.
This is why I’m reaching out humbly, with a heart full of sorrow but also hope. If you are able, we ask for your support:
A donation, no matter how small, will help us cover funeral expenses.
A simple share of this campaign can help us reach others who may want to help.
Every contribution will lift a heavy burden from our grieving family and allow us to focus on honoring my dad’s memory instead of worrying about finances.
Please help us lay him to rest with dignity, surrounded by the love and honor he earned in his lifetime.
Together, we can give him the goodbye he truly deserves.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading, for caring, and for standing with us in this painful time. Your kindness will forever be remembered.
With love and gratitude,
The Zenner family
