On May 15, 2025, my father, Warren Armant, went to sleep and never woke up. My mother, Marsha Armant, woke to discover her husband, spouse, mate, protector, provider, and partner of 45 years had passed overnight. Pops had gained his wings, peacefully at home.
Pops was a retired veteran. Early in his life, he was drafted by the Marines and sent to Vietnam. After honorably discharging from the Marines, Pops thought to himself, "Hmmm, I always wanted to be in the Army..." So, he volunteered for the Army, and they sent him straight back to Vietnam. It was his final post in the Army at Ft. Carson (Colorado Springs, CO) where he and my Mama crossed paths in 1980, and their combined destiny unfolded.
My mother and father were a team for 45 years, and now that he has departed, it leaves just her to transition into a life as a widow from that life in which she always had a partner. She ALWAYS had Warren. Unfortunately, the V.A. did not cover as much of the funeral service as we had always expected. Therefore, our family finds ourselves in a financial hardship in that we want to give Pops the best Home going that a dedicated soldier deserves. We also must help our mother, grandmother, auntie, sister Marsha have a smooth transition into her new chapter in life. Therefore, we humbly ask any of our family, loved ones, friends, associates, etc., to help us in these tough times. Any is plenty, and a little given by a lot adds up. Give what your heart tells you.
One thing about Warren Armant is that he touched a lot of people's lives in various ways. He distributed a lot of lessons and love. If you can show him some love by making things a little bit easier on his wife, Marsha Armant, by donating to his Memorial Fund, I'm sure his soul will appreciate it. Thank you in advance.
