Hi, my name Is Todd Langton, and I am asking for your help with Warner Atalig. Warner was the recipient of a hit and run accident on highway 237 this last Wednesday. He now has numerous broken bones; hip, most of his ribs, collar bone and shoulder blade. He has lost 40% of his skin from his neck down. He is in critical but stable condition at Valley Medical in San Jose. He will be out of work for at least the next 6-18 months.
Katherine (Kat) Hunter is Warner's girlfriend. She is responsible for medical and financial decisions for Warner right now. They have lived together for the past several years. Since Warner is not able to make decisions now, Kat and I will make sure the money goes for Warner's physical and financial recovery.
Before the accident, Warner worked at four different jobs to make a living here in Silicon Valley. He recently obtained his real estate agent's license while, at the same time, driving for Uber/Lyft, delivering food for his friend's restaurant and any other opportunity to make ends meet financially.
Here is what everyone who knows Warner says about him. Warner is always active/proactive in helping those in need; a friend, a stranger, a struggling young family or children suffering from homelessness or the loss of a parent. He is the most compassionate, positive, and selfless person ever met. The photo here of Warner was taken during one of the numerous food and supply distributions for the homeless many of us are involved in.
During one of our Agape Silicon Valley distributions (Warner is one of our volunteers and team leaders) for the homeless, Warner met a family living with two young children in the fields. Instead of just dropping off the food and supplies and calling it a day, Warner spent the next several hours rounding up donated toys for these two children. Not only did he deliver the toys to these children, but he also brought 3 Costco pizzas with him. Warner and the young family enjoyed the toys, pizza, and the abundance of unconditional love together for a nice dinner in the field they were living in. This story describes Waner perfectly. This experience is only one of the hundreds of stories of Warner helping those in need.
Now it’s time for Warner to be the recipient of our help. We hope that you can donate whatever amount you feel comfortable with. Thank you for your donation and for sharing this GoFundMe with others!
