This is Gray Kitty. He is a street cat who was saved from the freezing temperatures of the Redhook Brooklyn neighborhood. He was the last cat in the block radius who hadn't been saved yet. But now he's inside (for now) and keeping warm. He is 10 years old and in need of some medical care. It is our hope that after he receives the care he requires, he can be placed in a foster home and eventually a forever home! As more details come in, I will update this page to share more information about Gray Kitty!

Update: Gray Kitty is awaiting blood results to ensure he's strong enough for his medical procedures. The price for all this care has increased and though I'm hopeful we'll meet it, I'm just grateful for all the people out there who have contributed to his recovery and care thus far. His current holder said that she is positive he will do well in a foster. He's vocal, showing signs of affection (she hasn't been able to touch him just yet but she's getting closer by the day!), eating well- he's a hungry boy! I'll be sure to keep you all in the loop! Update 3/14/25: Thanks to all you generous people, Gray Kitty received the medical care he needed. He had many teeth removed but not as many as we originally anticipated so with the surplus of funds, we covered another rescue cat's medical visit. Gray Kitty is still looking for a home to be fostered in since he has been in a crate for so long. He would do best in a room where he can roam freely but away from other cats.
