Warmth and Care for Diana's Family

This is my mother, Diana Benedict. Some may know her from her massage practice, "Thai Those Knots," but others may know her for her kind, hardworking, and loving spirit. Within the past two months, our family has faced so many hardships. We recently found out that she has stage 4 breast cancer, meaning that it has metastasized to her bones. She has consistently given her time and energy to anyone in need. Unfortunately, my mother is not the only one struggling with her health at this time. She has recently taken in my uncle, who is unable to look after himself. On Monday, the 6th, my uncle had to be taken to the hospital where he went into cardiac arrest 3 times. Miraculously, he was able to stabilize and is still in there. My sister and her 7-year-old daughter also live with us. She, as well as my mother, has had to take off work because she is deeply struggling with her mental health. On top of all the health struggles we are facing, our motor in the furnace went out last week, and we have been/are without heat. We called to get it fixed, but hours after it was fixed, the house began to fill with carbon monoxide, and we had to turn it off. We were then told that the whole furnace would need to be replaced. As most of you know, this weekend may reach -7 degrees, and we are concerned that it will be too cold for us, as well as the possibility of our pipes freezing. 1. Replace the furnace, which was estimated to cost $4,000

2. Help pay our mortgage and utilities

3. If funds allow, help cover her treatments

4. If funds allow, help cover groceries and gas
