Warming Kansas City Project

My name is Jack Baker and my brother JoJo and I believe that no one in Kansas City should have to be without a jacket or blanket through this cold winter.  8 years ago we volunteered at St. Paul’s Food Pantry on Main Street to help organize food donations. As the hungry came in, many of the people asked if we had any hats or coats to give them.  After seeing this need, my brother and I decided to make a difference and collect items and make sure everyone has warm clothes during the winter. Over the last eight years, we along with some of our friends have personally handed out thousands of coats, blankets, gloves and hats to the needy at St. Paul’s Food Pantry. We were able to give away every single item we collected and people still needed more.  We are going back again for our 9th YEAR  and WE NEED YOUR HELP!!! 



We are especially looking for BLANKETS, GLOVES and WARM HATS THIS YEAR !!!! If you do not have any warm items for donation and still would like to contribute to our cause please donate here as we will be buying more blankets to ensure we have enough warm items for everybody in need here in Kansas City !!
Please help us in our effort to collect items such as Winter Jackets, Blankets, Scarves, Gloves,Hats & Socks.We will take all sizes, including baby clothes, childrens, teens and of course women and men. We plan to collect items until Dec. 11th  and we will distribute these items ourselves on Dec. 12th  to make sure your generous donation ends up in the right hands!!
