Warm Up El Sol Theater!

Help us warm up our theater!   El Sol Theater in Silver City, New Mexico, has been under renovation for a few years now, advancing one step at a time.  We've been performing in the theater for the last two years, but have no heating or cooling.  

A local group, the Thirty Something, has generously committed to donating $30,000 to this project at $1000 per individual!!  Of course not everyone can contribute at that scale, but even a small donation by each of you will put us over the finish line!  Help us raise the remaining funds of the total $55,000 needed to install heating, cooling, and roof repairs.  Please consider a donation of $10, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500 or whatever number works for you!  Your contributions will make the theater usable year-round! 

The theater is used by Virus Theater, an incredibly creative and dedicated local theater troupe, as well as Virus Theater kids programs, the local charter school theater program, and other local performance groups and festivals.   Virus Theater has been committed to original live theater in Silver City for over twenty years, training actors and sharing with audiences of all ages and walks of life.
