Hi, my name is Gail and this is my friend Rhonda. Rhonda is currently homeless and living on the streets of Atlantic City, NJ. She was working as a waitress but lost her job after being hit by a drunk driver. She spent two months in the hospital and recovering. As we all know, permanent disability could take up to two years to be approved. Rhonda is currently working with a social worker to find housing. This is proving to be a challenge as she uses a walker and needs a ground floor dwelling. Rhonda is cold and hungry and barely surviving on the windy streets. While I've gotten her a coat and boots, she really needs a room. Several times I've paid for this at $44 a night. I can get a weekly rate of $254. I need some financial help as I can't continue to do this on my own. My goal is $3,000 to try to at least get her through Jan, Feb, and March. I will go directly to the hotel and pay as we go.
