Warm Shelter for a Caring Friend and Former Co-Worker!

I know we’ve all heard that most of America is just one paycheck away from being homeless… well, today I’m reaching out to all of you for help as I just found out a friend and former

co-worker of ours from TWA-AA in STL is homeless and living out of her car. She’s been looking for work but hasn’t been able

to find anything yet and has been on the list for housing for months and nothing has opened up. She currently resides in Montana where the winters are brutally cold. When I spoke to her today, I asked her why she had to be in Montana and couldn’t live in Phoenix where it’s warmer!

Our friend, who I would like to remain anonymous, is a super person. She’s kind and has always helped others, so now is the time for us to help her. I was able to get her into a safe, warm place for a couple of days, but my goal is to raise enough funds to be able to get her into an Airbnb for the next month or so… based on the funds that are raised. All I can think about is how cold and lonely it must be for her, and it breaks my heart. While I know funds are tight for everyone, if we all pitch in together, we can make a huge difference in someone's life.
