Warm Our Home Again: Urgent Propane Assistance

Hello everyone! I want to start by saying I have, in fact, had to completely swallow every bit of pride I have to do this.

June will make 2 years I’ve lived at my current address. When I first moved in, I had no idea the outrageous amount that propane heating was nor anything about it. I also didn’t realize that they were able to refuse deliveries based on how much you owe. I am currently at an amount of $2500 before they will deliver any. I have already made over $1100 in payments total, as the amount would’ve been $3600. All while making sure all other bills are paid as well. I work my butt off to make sure we do not go without and my family has what they need.

In desperate need, I did reach out to see if I was able to get any assistance with this bill, and it turns out that technically I make just over the amount for 4 people in my household. We do have other places we can stay while it’s this cold; however, we would love to be back in our home. Anything at all helps and this is most definitely a huge worry and step for me to make.
