Warm Meals for 500 Children in Honduras

For the holidays this year, we are doing a special food drive to feed 500 children and their families in rural Honduras. As a member of the Board of Directors, I have been to the area and have packed these bags of food personally, so I can vouch that every donation will go directly to the families. Without this food program, the children generally only eat two tortillas per day, so this is our chance to change that.

 

The goal is to raise $25,000, which will provide enough food for 500 families for a month ($50 per family per month). Many organizations have high overhead costs, but ours have been paid for, so all donations will go right to the families with the greatest need.

Children's Rescue Mission (CRM) was founded over 20 years ago in rural Honduras after the Teupasenti Region was devastated by Hurricane Mitch. It has since worked to break the cycle of poverty through food, water, and community programs. CRM is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization, so all donations are tax deductible.
