Teens are unique. Why should their hospital gowns be any different?
Last year, Starlight began offering Ward + Robes to the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario in partnership with Rethink Canada. Soon after launching, Canadian and International media took notice with over 10 million views of the campaign video and interviews from around the world including Japan, Brazil, Germany, Australia, United States and the United Kingdom. The Ward + Robes gowns, designed by Toronto fashion house Nuvango, are 100% Canadian made with fabric that exceeds hospital grade standards. Design features include pockets for monitors, four ties for full back coverage and access areas for IVs and ports.
Starlight aims to raise enough funds to expand Ward + Robes to all dedicated pediatric hospital beds in Canada. Each increment of $100 in donations will supply one gown for a seriously ill teen.
Starlight is challenging the public to #Dare2Share content with three of their friends and followers, along with making a donation to the Ward + Robes program.
It's simple and fast:
1. Click on the top right button to make your donation. $100 will actually buy a gown for a child but any amount helps! 10 people giving just $10 each buys a gown!
2. Dare to share to THREE of your friends by sending them a message, "I just saw an amazing video. Click HERE (with a link to the video) and I dare you to match my donation and help me buy a designer gown for a seriously ill child. Then, challenge them to share it with THREE MORE people by sending them this message!
3. Share this on all your social media channels! Let's see how many gowns we can give to children!
Let seriously ill teens feel like teens again. Donate today!
