Wardanieh Emergency and Relief Fund

Dear friends, on Wednesday October 9th, my father’s small village (where I built many of my childhood memories), a once-safe haven, was bombed (like many places across Lebanon), reducing its homes, community centers, and shelters to rubble. Since September 23rd 2024, this village had become a refuge, taking in approximately 8,000 displaced families, including children and people with special needs care, who fled the indiscriminate bombing in the South of Lebanon. To give you a better picture of the gravity of the situation, this village has a population of only 6,000. This hospitable community came together to support as many as they could. But now, and as this war prolongs, the need for aid is greater than ever.

The situation has gone from bad to unbearable. Families who had already lost so much now face new horrors, struggling for basic necessities. Driven by my love for my country, and especially my father and the courage he has shown in staying in his homeland, I am committed to supporting this community however possible. My father has selflessly been doing what he can, but I know the needs are overwhelming. Food, medical supplies, winter clothes, blankets, and supplies for the Red Cross are all urgently needed, and these funds will help provide that.

I am raising these funds to ensure people receive the essentials they need to endure. Your donation will go directly to fund supplies that will be distributed in the village, with every cent accounted for. I will provide transparent updates and answer any questions about how the funds are used and the difference they are making.
