We are Workington Academy Radio in the North West of England. We have been nominated for secondary school radio station of the year at the Young Audio Awards for two years running.
Our team of students aged 11 to 13 are amazing and have broadcast live on local radio station CFM Radio twice in the last 12 months.
Our school is currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and we would love to broadcast our radio station live to our students and local community of Workington to help them during this unprecedented time.
We plan on sharing positive messages, music and more.
We need kind people and businesses to donate so we can pay for the streaming platform, PPL/PRS licenses and music we require to get started ASAP.
