My name is Mohammed Abu Samra, a 30-year-old dentist from Gaza, Palestine.

A year and a half ago, my life changed forever when I lost both of my beloved sisters in the same airstrike. One of them, Nagham Abu Samra, was a Palestinian karate champion whose achievements inspired so many in our community. Her story was even featured by international media, including Al Jazeera (Display report ) and Wikipedia ( Nagham Abu Samra – Wikipedia , where I shared her dreams and legacy.

That single moment not only took away my sisters, but it shattered the foundation of my life.

Losing My Home

Not long after, our family home was completely destroyed in another airstrike. I still carry the video of the moment it was blown up. With it, I lost not just walls and a roof, but the last place that held my memories of my sisters and our life together.

Now I live without stable income, without savings, and without permanent shelter. Every single day is a struggle to secure food, clean water, and safety.

This campaign is not only for me — I am also responsible for supporting my father (Marwan Abu Samra) and my younger brother, who remain with me here in Gaza. Together, we are trying to survive with dignity through this war.
