The intent of this fund is to help provide musicians of the Kyiv Chamber orchestra financial support and hope for the future..

 

This is my homeland orchestra where I took my first steps on the professional stage back in 2005. Kyiv Chamber orchestra has shared the stage and joy of making music with members of the US Air Force band on several occasions over the past couple of years. Right now, most of these wonderful musicians and their families are forced to sit in bomb shelters, at metro stations, waiting for the next air siren wondering if, when where the bomb will hit ...

The fund is connected to my personal bank account because Ukraine is currently a county where GoFundMe doesn’t yet operate, so the responsibility will fall directly on me to deliver the funds. I will be transferring the money directly to Andrii Chop , the individual in charge of the payroll with the Kyiv Chamber orchestra . I know Andrii Chop personally as we worked together during my time employed with the orchestra , he’s a member of the orchestra since 1998. I can confidently say that he will distribute all monies equally to the members of the orchestra . If, for some reason , I am unable to transfer him the money, all funds collected to my GoFundMe will be refunded .
