War Relief for Rula’s Family

On March 20th at 2:30am, my dear friend Rula in Gaza awoke to the home adjacent to hers being bombed by the Israeli occupation. 12 people in her family were killed, and she was injured by debris and smoke inhalation.

Rula (24) is currently sitting in a semi-destroyed structure with her three daughters, Seela (6), Mira (4), and Nasreen (2). They now know that their cousins of the same age did not survive the bombing. They need help rebuilding some kind of structure so they may sit and sleep. Aid at the border is being intentionally bottlenecked and even entirely prevented from flowing in to Gaza. This causes prices to skyrocket for any basic food or supply staples.

My name is Annabelle Warren, I am a friend of Rula’s and I have been facilitating wire transfers from myself and many other gracious donors over the past year. When supporting Palestinians through this crisis, I believe the most effective way to help is to send money directly to a family in need so they may appropriate the funds however necessary. By doing this, we have been able to help Rula’s family survive the famine of war, receive medical treatment for war related illness, and send Rula’s two older daughters to kindergarten so they may receive some semblance of an education during this time. The ceasefire brought almost two months of peace from bombing, but the massacre has resumed with full steam. Israel is a carnivore.
