My son and 3 of his friends planned a 2 week motorcycle dirt riding adventure in Colorado. They spent the last year planning, aquiring all the gear for their bikes and also camping equipment. On Thursday August 23rd, 2 of them drove the truck and trailer out to the Denver International Airport to pickup the other 2 late on Friday evening. They were intending to spend the night and hit the trails with their bikes on Saturday August 26th. They stayed at a Marriott near the Denver, CO International airport.

At around 5am Saturday morning a large tow truck used a towing strap and towed the entire rig away. Steaing everything these young men worked for over the past year. The picture shown is apparrently the first tow truck the crooks attempted to steal my sons truck and trailer with. This white tow truck was also stolen as confirmed by the police. They ditched this white tow truck and came back with a much large one to steal the rig. The truck and trailer prbly weighed over 12-13 thousand pounds.

These 4 young men are very hard working good guys. They have had everything taken from them including equipment and their dream adventure. They are only left with the clothes on tSeir backs and what little personnal items they had with them in the hotel room. They have insurance on some of the equipment lost. Some of them are now cash strapped and need to get home. It will also take them years to replace the stolen equipment.
