Wanderlust Yoga Austin Employee and Teacher Relief Fund

These are tragic times for our community, nation and the globe. We at Wanderlust Yoga Austin, are working everyday to alter our business to best serve our community in the safest way possible while also trying to take care of our employees and teachers who are home without work. We went from strictly a brick and mortar business to strictly an online business the day we closed our doors in compliance with the CDC and other national organizations.

Our current economic state has forced us to make incredibly hard decisions regarding the business and how we are going to weather this storm. The huge impact on the livelihood of our Wanderlust family that this has had is deeply saddening. The truth is that day by day we are continuing to have to make these challenging decisions. As part of the local mandates and to protect the safety of our students, teachers and staff, we have had to significantly reduce our business, which has resulted in the temporary furlough of many employees and teachers during this crisis. The Wanderlust family is the heart and soul of our operation, the magic that makes our yoga community so special, and we are truly heartbroken for the impact that this is having on them and all others affected in the health and wellness industry and beyond. Our PURPOSE is to create a community that inspires people to better their lives and make a difference. Our PASSION is to offer a unique experience that builds courage, freedom, mindfulness and vitality. We’re doing our best to make decisions that consider the short-term urgency while securing a long-term foundation for our Wanderlust family to come home to. 

We are actively working on different ways to offer support to everyone who has been impacted across our two studios, including our: Wanderlust Yoga Austin Employee and Teacher Relief Fund. 100% of the donations will go toward alleviating financial stress for the individuals of our Wanderlust family whose jobs have been temporarily lost as a result of the Coronavirus crisis, and who are struggling to maintain basic human needs.
