the Wanderlust Record wrap up

Since Spring of 2014, I've been working on a new record.
After the passing of my grandfather, I began reflecting on the qualities I inherited from him: the desire to build something from the ground up, to explore, create, to venture into the unknown, get my hands dirty & discover something new. It's just in my blood, this wanderlust. While staring at a ghostly old photo of him sitting horseback out west, I landed on the title/vision for the Wanderlust Record. And I got started.
Wanting to give it my best, I wrote constantly, hired a professional recording engineer, called upon the best musicians I know & started raising funds. Though top 40 artists with record labels spend $100k+ on their records, my goal was to write, produce, record, mix & master a kick ass record for $12k.
We raised $6k & started recording. Since that time a LOT has happened--serious health & vocal issues, big life changes, tragedy & failure. I have honestly lost hope for this record several times. But beloved people have picked me up to remind me that there is magic in me & power in these songs. So we (quietly) pressed on.
Now, we are done recording, editing AND mixing! The music is truly amazing. To put this record in your hands, we still need about $4k for remaining mixing/mastering costs.
