What is the Wandering Healer Collective?
Wandering Healer Collective is a collaborative workspace for practitioners of complimentary medicine. Our members own independent businesses while sharing space and resources with the goal of individual and community growth. We believe in bettering the health of the communities in which we live, work and play. We believe all people deserve access to wellness and mindfulness services. Founders Meredith Green and Sarah Chila bring with them a combined 15 years of experience in the wellness field. As health professionals, their goal is to give back to their local and global communities in the form of healing and health education.
Where We're Headed
We can't wait to begin work on the WHC space here in the Burlington area. As soon as we are settled in, the real work begins, making health resources available to our communities. Within the first 3 months we aim to provide you with small group workshops, virtual classes, and locally sourced wellness products.
What We Need
In short, we need investors. Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, our massage-based incomes were completely nonexistent for 6 months. The start up capital that we anticipated based on teaching engagements, workshops, and classes suddenly disappeared. So, we decided to look to our community. Vermont has a long history of grass-root funding and support. Since we are an organization rooted in lifting up our community, we know our community will see our value and invest in us so that we can all grow together.
The Team

Meredith Green
Meredith is a Vermont based massage therapist. Her interest in massage was born from a curiosity in the healing power of touch post trauma. After attending massage school in Boston in 2014, her career began working with elite athletes on the Olympic and professional levels. Some of Meredith's clients have included NFL players, Olympic gold medalists and ultra marathoners. While sports massage is still a passion of hers, Meredith now also focuses on bringing healing to clients living with PTSD and dissociative disorders. She became certified in Oncology Massage in 2016 to better serve any medically fragile clients. Meredith's sessions are an opportunity for clients to become aware of how healthy their bodies can feel when nurtured in a safe, judgment-free environment. Open mindedness and a friendly nature make her an ideal practitioner for clients who are living with stress, pain, trauma or PTSD. Hobbies of Meredith's include meditation, combat sports, poetry and hiking. Recently she has begun sex coach certification with the hope to further guide clients looking to find harmony with their bodies. Meredith identifies as a proud member of the LGBTQ community and happily welcomes bodies of any gender on her massage table.
Sarah Chila
Sarah has studied many healing methods and techniques since 2011 when her health went on a sudden and steep decline. The motivation and inspiration for her practice in the healing arts is hugely rooted in her own profound healing experiences. Sarah feels very grateful to have healed through these modalities and wants to provide healing opportunities for others. Now, Sarah is a Certified Health Coach with a specialty in helping people with chronic bladder conditions such as painful bladder syndrome and interstitial cystitis. She is also a Massage Therapist specializing in deep relaxation with the use of hot stones. Her training in unique somatic therapies like Rubenfeld Synergy and Shen Therapy have added great depth to her skills as a wellness worker. Sarah’s most recent endeavor was becoming a yoga instructor. She sees private yoga clients interested in restorative and trauma sensitive yoga. A massage, yoga or coaching session with Sarah is an opportunity to be gently guided by a practitioner who is committed to holding space for your healing.
