Hi friends! After much thought and prayers I have decided to start a Go Fund me for my Mom, Wanda. She is considered a bonus "Mom" / "Grandma" to most people in our beautiful community.

She is currently battling the highest Stage of Mucoepidermoid Carcinoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. She is the strongest person I know, but this fight has brought overwhelming financial challenges on top of the physical and emotional toll.

My mom has begun treatment which includes:

Radiation: Five days a week

Chemotherapy: Once a week

Unfortunately, just the doctor visits working up towards her radiation and chemotherapy treatments caused her to miss a great deal of work and now that she is out of work until at least December her financial situation has become dire. Our family has pulled together what resources we could to help with her basic monthly living expenses but we are still falling short in that area.

I am asking for help to reach a goal of 20,000.

This will go toward:

    •    Covering co-pays and treatment costs

    •    Keeping her housing secure

    •    Supporting her through this long journey of healing
