Our beloved friend, sister, and daughter Wanda after 2 years of battling cancer, is very sadly terminal. On behalf of Wanda, myself and her family are working hard to make sure we honour her memory. Wanda has always been the life of the party, living life out loud, authentically and with a wicked sense of humour. We want to be able to remember her in that fashion. Wanda is a cherished member of the indigenous, queer and recovery communities. She always did what she could to help anyone who needed it. Deeply empathetic, wise and understanding, she could make any person feel at home instantly with her warmness and vulnerability.

She is always down for adventures. Road trips, concerts, pow wows, dancing, Wanda never shyed away from anything.

She's an incredible artist, from beading to makeup, and everything in between. Wanda above all is a person who loves deeply, and loved people, animals, and beings across the board. It is an incredible honour to have been loved by someone who cares the way she does.

We do not have all the funds to be able to do a proper celebration of life. It would mean the world to us if you could donate. Any amount helps! Any extra funds not used for the celebration of life will be given to her children Chris, Lillian, and her soon to be born grandson.

A date will be determined once we have enough funds to book a place! We will keep everyone in the loop.

We love Wanda so much, and we hope we can give her the proper send off she deserves so deeply.
