Many of our family and friends know that my precious momma, Wanda Moncus, was diagnosed with stage 4b colon cancer on September 11,2022. What is not commonly known is the amount of surgeries and treatments she has endured over the last two years. In May 2023, she was told there was no evidence of cancer after many months of chemotherapy. In April 2024, she was told the cancer was back and spreading. She began a stronger treatment of chemotherapy in May and June 2024. The side effects left her extremely sick and not able to live her active life. She stopped chemotherapy treatments in June. She’s had time to recover from most of the side effects but is now pursuing an alternative holistic treatment in Tampa, Florida at Utopia Wellness Center. We believe that the therapies she will receive there and the valuable nutrition information she will gain will only help her body get to the root of this horrible disease. God has opened the doors for her to be able to go, but it has also come at a significant price that is not covered by her insurance. The treatment, living expenses, and plane tickets home are costly. My simple request is that you would pray for healing in my Momma and if the Lord leads you to give, please do. I know I’m extremely biased but she is a wonderful woman who loves God, her family, friends, and anyone she can help.
