Hi. My name is Nadine and I am starting this fundraiser to help my sister in law Wanda. As many of you know, Wanda went to visit her sister in Texas for Thanksgiving a couple of years ago and became suddenly ill. All of her organs started shutting down and she was air vac to 2 hospitals to find out why. While she was on life support , her mother had a heart attack and suddenly passed away. Weeks later, Wanda woke up and started asking for her mom. Her sister Erika had to break the news to her and it was very hard for Wanda to accept.

The cause of her body shutting down was never determined. After being hospitalization for so long she ended up losing her job at the VA which meant losing her health insurance as well. A few months later, she was diagnosed with lung cancer. She just couldn’t seem to catch a break. She’s been going through chemo and dialysis with good/ positive results and still fighting for state aid and disability. A few months ago she was told that she needed vascular surgery due to blockage in both legs. Oh boy., poor Wanda. She had surgery on her left leg and it went very well. She couldn’t wait to have her right leg done. She finally had her right leg surgery and after having the staples removed and relaxing at home, she started hemorrhaging. She was rushed by ambulance to St Elizabeth’s and had emergency surgery to repair a hole in her artery. She felt better and started her road to recovery. A couple days passed and she started hemorrhaging again. She had another surgery this passed Wednesday but told the artery was beyond repair. She is scheduled to have her leg amputated tomorrow morning. Please pray fir her.

After all that she had been through my poor sister in law is still putting on a strong face and trying to keep her spirits up. I know she beyond upset and trying to understand why she is being hit with so much all at once. I’m know she is drowning in medical bills and all I can do to help her is to ask you for your prayers and help. She seriously could use all the help she can get. Thank you
