Walt's Journey: Be There for Robin

Sorry for the abrupt announcement, but we've been a little preoccupied the last few days. While fishing at Pendland Lake on Father's Day, Mom suffered a stroke. An ambulance met them en route to Heppner, and she was life-flighted to OHSU Sunday afternoon. As of today, she has regained some mobility in her right side but is still unable to speak or swallow. They are hopeful that she can be released to a standard room from the ICU soon, where she will continue to receive therapy in hopes of removing the feeding tube. Dad's boss has graciously allowed him the time from work he needs to travel and stay with Mom, but expenses will start adding up quickly while he is not working. Medical expenses we can tackle later. If there's anything you'd like to contribute to Walt and Robin to help with immediate expenses, we would be incredibly grateful... even if it's thoughts and prayers.
