Help Walter with his Road to Recovery

Hi, my name is Tammy and I am raising funds to help with my husband Walters treatments after an unfortunate accident. Walter fell 15ft from the cabin top of our boat while it was dry docked in a boat yard onto concrete and landed with his back across an I-Beam which broke 4 Vertebrae and his Scapula. He is also very badly bruised from the fall and had a Heart Attack while falling. He had to wait 12 days before they could operate on his spine due to the blood thinners and make sure his heart was good before they could proceed. The surgery went well and he is very lucky that there was no damage to his spinal cord, so he can walk, but he is in a lot of pain and very weak. It has been recommended that he get Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy to minimize scarring and speed up the recovery time, along with other alternative treatments like acupuncture ect.

 

We would like to start treatments as soon as possible. Post surgical hyperbaric oxygen therapy is extremely valuable in speeding up the healing and reducing recovery time. Complications such as swelling, inflammation, infection and scarring are reduced which was proven from numerous wound healing studies. Oxygen can cleanse the body from anesthetics, strengthen the effect of medication and reduce side effect. All these attributes in faster healing are cost effective and best results are achieved with early and frequent oxygen treatment following the surgery. It's also good for heart attack and liver recovery.
