Hi, my name is Nathalie. I'm fundraising for Walter at LAEC ( Los Angeles Equestrian Center). I don't own him, I facilitate his care between vet, foster, transport and any cost involved. Without your donations, it would be very hard to keep up with his vet bills!

So far, it has cost $2240, and we expect to spend $720 for the next four weeks.

Walter broke his foot a month ago, we don't know what happened, and nobody witnessed the incident. He was rushed to the emergency vet hospital, and x-rays showed he had broken all four metatarsals caused by trauma!

He has a splint for at least three months and needs bandage changes weekly with x-rays once a month to ensure his foot is healing correctly.

Unfortunately, after a month, x-rays didn't show any improvement. Walter is very old (20 years old) and will need more time to heal, we hope!

In the meantime, he's doing well at the foster. He's comfortable, not in pain, he's increasingly affectionate and enjoying the attention!
