Walter Mauricio Miranda’s Memorial

On behalf of Walter's family and friends, I would like to share a bit about him and his life.
Walter was born on September 16, 1964, in San Miguel, El Salvador. He grew up in Bridgeport, Connecticut and loved sports. He loved to play soccer and he was a fan of Argentina. In addition, he was a NY Giants fan.

Walter went on to become a humble construction worker. He was very smart and always worked hard. A person could ask him to build a kitchen or bathroom and all he needed was a deadline, and he would get it done! Walter found joy in helping people when they needed it. If someone was having car troubles or a leak in the house, Walter was there. He did not ask for a reward or favor in return, he did this out of the kindness of his heart.

Walter also loved his family dearly. He loved his nephews and their wives, Nicholas and Helie, and Alec and Gabby. He loved his parents, Maria and Vito, as well as his sister Tamara, his brother Eddie, and sister-in-law Milagros. He had 3 daughters Kimberly, Alexandra and Andreah and was blessed with 6 grandchildren, Genesis, Jayden, Taliah, Santana, Savannah, and Kamden. Walter knew God and represented Him through the compassion and love he showed others. With that being said, he loved to laugh, goof around, and crack jokes.

On January 1st, 2023, Walter went on to be with the Lord. He passed away at the age of 58. Walter fought the good fight and by faith, we believe he received the crown of righteousness. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day--and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing." 2 Timothy 4:7-8.

Arrangements are currently to be determined for his memorial and celebration of life. Due to the unforeseen passing of Walter, we hold insufficient funds. Any contributions, gifts, or donations will be greatly appreciated. All funding strictly goes towards cremation, services, travel expenses, and miscellaneous expenses. Walter deserves a beautiful memorial and celebration. By contributing, you will give peaceful closure to his family and friends.

With great faith and gratefulness,

Walter's Family
