Walt Peters, at 82, deserves retirement

Donation protected
Walt Edward Peters is 82 years old, born in Chicago in 1942, 3 years before the end of World War II.

He has a dear connection with dogs, and he says that dogs love him but scientists aren’t sure.
He loves dogs and animals so much that he notices when they are lonely, when their owners aren’t treating them as a friend but rather a pet.
He has two dogs but cannot live with them in his current residence.
Walt attended Illinois University in Carbondale where he got his Bachelor’s in Industrial technology/design.
He is a brilliant man, but maybe more importantly he has a big heart and a bright soul.

His skills grew and his adventurous, inventive spirit took him far! He bought a 1953 General Motor’s coach and installed a vintage 1885 Metal Lathe into the back of it, then moved to Boulder, Colorado in 1978 back when it was still a tiny, charming town. Talk about the hippie movement!

He built a vintage graphic design table for Auto-Trol technology from scratch… Basically the first iPad Pro.

He built an entire solar research site in Golden, Colorado inside some trailers!
Walt also worked as a lab tech testing computer hard drives, designed and built lots of custom equipment for laboratories, and restored tons of valuable vintage objects, such as this piano!

Okay, but why am I telling you all of this?
Walt Peters has grown to be a dear person to me. I want to tell a bit of his story because he needs help.
He has been tirelessly searching for a place to rent, while still looking for work at the age of 82. He is currently unemployed and his savings are running out.
If we reach our goal, Walt can enjoy up to 7.5 years of renting a place worry-free. If we meet this goal he will be able to rest in a well deserved retirement.
Not only does he need to have a roof over his head, but he deserves liberation. He should not be forced to work at this age.
Please help me help my friend. You absolutely don’t need to donate if you can’t, but please, if you are willing, share this post so we can spread the word!
We can offer him the gift of retirement and the security of a roof over his head so that he may live in rest, rejuvenation, and the peace to do as he desires.
Please help me to offer this gentle, dear soul a secure retirement, the gift of finally being able to rest, as well as the basic human need of shelter.

Let’s extend our hearts to him and provide him everything we can.
With love,
his friend Heather.
