Wal's stroke recovery

I honestly debated whether to do this or not but thought I've got nothing to lose.

Last Friday the 21st of February, I received a phone call from my mum saying that dad has had a stroke. After the first CT scan they discovered that Dad has a significant bleed in the brain, the size of a walnut in which caused his stroke.

Dad has a long road to recovery and will need intensive rehab for strength, speech and cognitive function for a period unknown to us yet. With such an unexpected event to hit our family I decided to start this fundraiser to relieve my mum of the financial strain of medical bills, her taking care of dad and getting him the best care available.
