Wally Wilkins: A Comedic Short Film

Hello Everyone,

My name is Mark Hoffman. I am a senior at The Masters University studying Cinema and Digital Arts. Over the years I have produced a feature film, editor on short films, an animator on a TV series, directed some short projects, and many more.

This project allows me to bring to fruition my director's vision for the story of Wally Wilkins.

The basic storyline: Wally Wilkins is a baker who forgets about his fiance's birthday. He is forced to try to keep promises he can not keep. In the end, he gives up and confronts her asking for forgiveness.

The script reminded me of cartoons, especially ones such as Looney Tunes or Mickey Mouse the TV show. It will be live-action but play with these kinds of jokes as a comedy similar to Charlie Chaplin.
