West Chicago Nonprofit Expands to Double Dog Rescue Capacity
West Chicago, IL — Love You More Dog Rescue, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in West Chicago, is expanding from five kennels to more than twelve in order to double the number of at-risk dogs it can save.
After beginning construction on the expansion, the organization is now $20,000 away from completing the remodel and reopening intake.
The expansion will add seven new permanent kennel spaces, increasing emergency response capacity and reducing the number of dogs left behind due to space limitations.
“We’re so close to finishing,” said founder Kelly. “This isn’t just a remodel — it’s permanent life-saving infrastructure for our community.”
The rescue is launching a public fundraising campaign and offering permanent kennel naming sponsorships as part of its “Founding 7” expansion initiative.
