I recently found out I have stage 3 triple negative breast cancer, which has come as a huge shock. The road to recovery will be a difficult one, but I plan to do everything I can to get my life back on track. As for now, my life and career are on hold as I navigate this unknown territory.

It is a difficult thing to put oneself out there like this but I know I will need some help with financial matters to aid in this battle.

I am currently receiving all sorts of scans and being poked and prodded, in order to see how far along the cancer is. I am on track to receive chemotherapy and then surgery once the tumor has shrunk down enough. This is going to be the next 6-8 months of my life, and then recovery so I can return to my job and continue progressing in my career and living life to the fullest.

Your generous donations will go towards my recovery needs, such as mental and physical therapy, supportive care, medications and to help with the cost of living (bills, rent, food etc.)

I am almost half way through chemotherapy/immunotherapy. This journey is a difficult one but with all your help so far I have been able to ensure that I am supporting my body and mind as best I can throughout this process.

The total duration of chemo will be 6 months, then I will receive a lumpectomy surgery and then I will have to undergo more rounds of immunotherapy to help my body learn to fight off cancer cells.

My oncologist has said that I am rocking this treatment and that by next year I will be able to get back to life!
