Wallace’s House Repair
Donation protected
Libby and Chester Wallace and Krewe were hit extremely hard from Hurricane IDA. When Chester returned back to Belle Chase to assess the damage done to the property he found a Sycamore tree 80-100+ feet uprooted taking the electric power panel off the house, the power line from the utility pole to the house and the pole is leaning. The water line to the fountain ruptured when the tree uprooted. The house shifted on it’s pier foundation footings and the chimney is leaning-house built in the 1830’s a one room dwelling with fireplace in the middle through the center of the roof used for cooking and heating. All of this is not good and they cannot return to Louisiana. The house is no longer safe to live in. Libby and the dogs are in Mississippi and Chester is in Belle Chase trying to take care of things there. All of the birds are still in Belle Chase as well.
Erin and I are setting up a GO FUND ME for the Wallace’s. Your donations will be going into Libby’s PayPal account. Once the funds are available they will be transferred directly into the Wallace’s bank account.
They are completely devastated by all of this upheaval as we all would be, and hurricane season has just begun.
Libby and Chester are the most wonderful, loving and loyal people you could ever know and Erin and I are privileged to call them friends/family.
Any help you can send will be most appreciated and help them immensely.
We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
Erin Whitney and Rhonda Hamilton.
