Help For My Father
Donation protected
This campaign is to provide help for an incredible father, husband, and man.
Seriously.
(My father when he served in the military)
Wallace Arnold. My father. A humble man. A loving man. A man who is always ready to lend a hand to help his family and those who are near and dear to him.
He was recently diagnosed with a rare, incurable, and untreatable form of cancer that has taken over his intestines and drastically reduced his quality of life for the rest of his life. Everything has changed - from what he eats to how he gets around - life as he knows it will never be the same.
(L to R: My mom, me, and my dad back when I was just a pup)
He's a hard working man, but this condition has made him unable to work - unable to provide for his family like the proud man that he is. My mother has also temporarily stopped working -- in order to take care of him. They have filed for Social Security Disability and are at the mercy of the government for processing of the application. In the meantime, they need money to afford his medical bills, expensive medications, housing (and home repair) expenses, utilities, food, home repairs, and more.
They have gone from a two income household to wondering how they are going to make ends meet. This is a scary time - in terms of not only his health, but also their finances.
The purpose of this campaign is to help my parents raise money to stay on their feet while they await approval of his disability payments.
(My mom and dad at his first and only surprise birthday party)
Please give what you can. Every bit that you give will help.
(My mom and dad at our 2013 family reunion)
Many thanks.
