"No one conquers who doesn't fight". Five months into her sobriety journey, Rosie is returning to the battlefield to win the fight against cancer. While there is no doubt she will conquer, the battle is just beginning.

Eleven years ago, Rosie had a similar origin cancer in her tonsils and lymph nodes. After surgery, she was cancer free until recently. Cancer has returned in the same area and is under her tongue and in a few remaining lymph nodes in her neck. Due to the size and location, they are inoperable. The end of the month, we embark with her, on 7 weeks of daily radiation (weekends off) and weekly chemo.

Enough about cancer. Rosie is the shining light in every room. She is positive, kind and funny. She has been living a new life of service and sobriety in the last 5 months, grateful for each day. Rosie is a single Mom to two amazing girls, Lily & Claire, who are just as delightful as she is.
