Walking with Josh and Chelsey
On March 30, 2021, Josh went in to have surgery done on his spine in hopes of fixing issues he had been having due to severe spinal stenosis. During the surgery, the doctors were able to get the vertebrae off his spinal cord but this surgery took 3 times longer than planned. Shortly after surgery, it was discovered that he no longer had feeling in his legs and was unable to move from the waist down. Alarmed, the surgeon quickly prepped him for a second surgery in attempts to seek the problem. They were unable to find any issues. As time has passed, and by God’s healing hands, Josh has began to regain some feeling and a little movement but is far from 100 percent. Because of complications during his surgery, he will be in the hospital longer than planned and will then have to go to a spinal injury rehabilitation center off the mountain to help him regain his strength and stamina. We are uncertain at how long the healing process will be, but we know that God is continuing to touch him daily.
I am creating this fundraising page as a means to keep their close friends and family updated and to give an opportunity to bless this couple as they journey through this trial together. All donations given will go to help with medical expenses, travel expenses, and general living needs until they get back on their feet. I ask you to give as you feel led.
