A Journey to Harmony and Sustainability
Introduction
My name is Arion Murtha Faria, and I wear many hats. I'm a forest firefighter for IBAMA, a massage therapist, a Pilates instructor, a physical therapist, and a student of ancient healing practices. My heart beats for the wisdom of old cultures, their traditions, and their philosophies of life.
Early Life and Influences
Born in 1981, I grew up in a small community in Teresópolis, Brazil. My mother, a young woman, and my father, a soldier in the Rio de Janeiro Mounted Military Police, parted ways when I was just five. My mother had to work tirelessly, which meant I was often left with relatives. At 14 or 15, life took a turn, and I moved in with my father and his new family. My teenage years were a whirlwind of sports, friendships, and developing a strong character marked by leadership.
Education and Spiritual Awakening
In 2001, I served as a second-class soldier in the Brazilian Army, an experience that shaped my discipline. By 2004, I entered university, and a year later, my life experienced a seismic shift. Spirituality emerged as a healing force, guiding me through academic leadership roles in physical therapy and athletics. By 2007, I was working in a rehabilitation clinic, helping around 50 individuals each day.
In 2009, an encounter with Dr. Massaru Emoto, PhD, validated my therapeutic insights, particularly regarding rehabilitation and the biopsychosocial approach. I completed my studies in 2010 and felt a calling to the majestic Andes mountains.
Connection with the Andes and Beyond
My travels to the Andes began in 2010, introducing me to brilliant minds and meaningful work in Chile. In 2012, I was immersed in the culture of Lake Titicaca in Bolivia, developing a deep connection with the Aymaras and their worldview. The awe-inspiring landscapes of Bolivia captured my heart, with Lake Titicaca becoming a place of profound personal significance.
I was fortunate to be accepted by the Aymara community on the Island of the Sun, where I was granted a piece of land, a rare privilege not typically afforded to outsiders. This opportunity allowed me to live in harmony with the land and its people.
Challenges and Resilience
In 2013, I spent eight months in the Caribbean, working as a holistic therapist and forging meaningful relationships. By 2015, I returned to Brazil and embraced fatherhood. Our journey took us to the UK in 2016, where my daughter was born. However, in 2018, a visa refusal forced us back to Brazil, where we faced health challenges and struggled to find stability.
Dreams of a Sustainable Future
Since 2021, I've been working as a Pilates instructor in England while nurturing a dream of creating a sustainable, ecological haven on Lake Titicaca. My vision includes an eco-friendly house, a small boat for eight people, and cultural wellness trips. I seek harmony between work and quality of life, striving for economic sustainability and cultural enrichment.
To realize this dream, I am reaching out for support to build a sustainable structure using ecological materials.
My goal is to create a sustainable financial future and quality of life. With a house to stay and a boat to travel in the lake, I will be able to offer travel to archaeological wonders, culture and wellness retreats.
Invitation to Collaborate
I believe in the power of collaboration and am looking for people who can empower me to bring this project to life. Your support and ideas can help create a positive impact on everyone involved. As a family man, I am determined to align my economic sustainability with quality of life and cultural access.
Together, we can make a difference. Tomorrow is uncertain, but by seeking possibilities today, we open doors to a future filled with harmony and sustainability. I'm eager to hear your ideas and embark on this journey with those who share this vision.
i appreciate your attention and support. May God bless all of us!
